Day 1: Nakupenda Sandbank & Prison Island

Morning boat departure from Stone Town. First stop at Nakupenda Sandbank - a beautiful disappearing sandbank in the middle of the ocean. Swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation on the pristine white sand. Seafood lunch on the sandbank. Continue to Prison Island (Changuu Island). Visit the giant Aldabra tortoise sanctuary and interact with 100+ year old tortoises. Explore historic prison ruins. Snorkeling from the island beach (optional). Return boat to Stone Town. Tour concludes in the afternoon.
